If you miss your flight, you can take a greyhound bus! If the weather is too rainy and the course gets shut down, you can go to a nearby museum! As long as you take every possibility into consideration, you will be well prepared to cope with anything that might come your way. That is the real way to ensure fun: simply adapt easily.

Of course, you should never wish a disaster upon your trip. Although it will make for better memories, sometimes they can cost a lot of money or time that you have invested into making the trip possible. I think that the main thing you should remember is that even if they do happen, you should not be crestfallen because of them. Your golf vacation is a time to have lots of fun and escape from work and the regular stresses of life. Therefore you should not let something so trivial as a bit of rain ruin it.
