Bringing Your Golf Clubs With You

If you are reading this, you are most likely planning a golf vacation in the future. And unless you plan on renting all your clubs once you arrive, you will probably be bringing your entire golf club collection with you through the airport and airplane trip (unless of course you are driving to your destination, in which case you will have no problem whatsoever!)

It may seem like the hassle of bringing your own golf clubs with you is too inconvenient to be worth the effort. However, once you are out on the course winning all your matches due to your familiarity with your clubs, you will be grateful for the effort you put in to getting them there. Renting clubs from the course you go to can be destructive to your game, since you will be picking up clubs that are complete strangers to you.

It is a good idea to utilize your golf club bag for full space conservation. If you can put not only your clubs but also all of your golf accessories in one bag, you will have more room in your main suitcase for clothes and the other necessities of your vacation. You won't be golfing the whole time! Keeping these items together will also help you to not lose them. It is rather frustrating to get to your hotel and have to buy new markers, visors, tees, and whatever other accessories you have lost on the way. It is best to keep them all in once place so that you know exactly where to go.

If you're going to be entrusting your precious golf club collection to the airport's bag handlers, you should definitely be sure they are properly protected. It might seem like golf clubs are nearly indestructible, but you won't feel this way when hundreds of pounds of suitcases crush your bag and bend all your golf clubs. This can disrupt the aesthetic aspect of your golfing experience, and cause you to miss quite a few of your shots.

Therefore it is beneficial to invest in a proper traveling golfing bag; one that is tough and weary. If you choose a tough bag that can withstand being crushed or battered, you will save yourself a lot of future heartache and money. If you spend upwards of several hundred dollars on a nice bag, in the event of a plane crash your bag could be so strong that it is the one thing that isn't destroyed!
